Beach party ...
After our programme finishes, die-hards can continue on to the beach and enjoy a beach party with good food, (hopefully!) a beautiful sunset and performances by anyone wishing to showcase their dance talent……
Friday 23 September ……
Opening night with an introduction by Karin Nieuwkerk, who will talk about her research on dance and religion. Plus the Dutch premiere of a very special film: "At night, they dance" which follows the lives of a dance family in Cairo. This will be followed by a discussion with one of the filmmakers, Isabelle Lavigne from Canada, and other guests.

There is a full programme during the day and then an evening presentation which will include the Oum Kalthoum Project, followed by performances by Aziza and many others. We will end the evening with a party (with DJ) in the Ketelhuis.
